Crook County in Oregon will launch a redesigned official website on March 2, 2026. The new site aims to provide easier access to county services, news, and departmental information for residents, businesses, and visitors.

The updated website will feature a cleaner layout, enhanced search functions, and a mobile-friendly design. These improvements are intended to help users quickly find meeting agendas, calendar events, elections information, public notices, and department contacts.

Key updates include improved navigation for faster access to services and resources, better availability of public information such as news and alerts, accessibility-focused changes to support more users and devices, and streamlined department pages with clearer contact details.

Residents are encouraged to visit the new website after its launch and update any saved bookmarks. Quick links will be available for common tasks like paying taxes or viewing county news. A new notification and alert signup process is planned for release after the initial launch; instructions will be provided once it becomes available.

Starting March 2, 2026, the official Crook County website address will change to https://www.crookcountyor.gov. The previous address (https://co.crook.or.us/) will redirect users automatically to the new site. The Crook County Library’s website address has also been updated to https://www.crooklibraryor.gov; previous library web addresses will redirect accordingly.

The county welcomes feedback from users who encounter issues or broken links. Residents can email administration@crookcountyor.gov with “Website Feedback” in the subject line.
