Gilliam County seeks bids for new fairgrounds office construction in Condon

Gilliam County has announced a request for proposals for the construction of a new office at the county fairgrounds in Condon, Oregon. The project involves building a single-story structure measuring 30 by 60 feet.

Contractors interested in bidding must submit sealed bids to the Gilliam County Fair Board, addressed to Gary Bettencourt at 221 S Oregon Street, PO Box 685, Condon, OR 97823. The deadline for submission is 3:00 pm on March 10, 2026. Bids received after this time will not be considered. All bids will be opened and read aloud immediately after the closing.

“This contract is for a public work subject to ORS 279C.800 to 279C.870, relating to the payment of prevailing wages.”

A pre-bid meeting is scheduled at the Gilliam County Fairgrounds located at 601 N. Washington St., Condon, on February 24, 2026 at 10 am Pacific Time.
