Morrow County announced on May 7 that a public meeting of the Budget Committee will be held to discuss the proposed budget for the fiscal year from July 1, 2026, to June 30, 2027. The meeting is scheduled for May 21 at 9:00 a.m. at the Morrow County Bartholomew Building, located at 110 N. Court Street in Heppner.

The meeting will include the presentation of the budget message and document, as well as an opportunity for members of the public to ask questions and comment on the proposed budget. Deliberations by the Budget Committee will take place during this session.

Any person may attend and participate in discussions regarding the budget document. Copies of the document will be available starting May 18 at 8:00 a.m., both at the Bartholomew Building and online at www.morrowcountyor.gov/finance. Printed copies or information about how to obtain one can also be provided upon request.
