33.1% unemployed in Oregon City in 2018

33.1 percent of Oregon City residents between 16 and 65 years old were unemployed in 2018, according to data obtained from the U.S. Census Bureau.

The percentage of unemployed residents was less than the statewide total of 37.8 percent for this demographic group. In 2018 the total Oregon City population reached 28,322.

Out of 18,934 people who had a job, 19 were employed in the Armed Forces and 18,915 belonged to the civilian labor force.

The total unemployment numbers include residents of all ages who are not working.
