CITY OF OREGON: Open Job - 2022 Facility Maintenance Specialist

City of Oregon issued the following announcement on May 20.

The City of Oregon City is excited to present an excellent opportunity for a self-starting, customer-oriented person to support the City's efforts to maintain and care for City facilities.  The Facility Maintenance Specialist will perform a wide variety of tasks throughout multiple locations.

 

Position: Under the general direction of the Assistant Parks and Recreation Director, the Facility Maintenance specialist will perform preventive maintenance and repair of heating, cooling, ventilation systems, appliances, and other building equipment such as lights, plumbing, and electrical. Successful candidates will have experience with building heating systems to recognize operating conditions that may lead to breakdown or inefficient operation, as well as performing building maintenance tasks requiring a variety of mechanical skills. Familiarity with direct digital controls and building automation systems is highly desired. Work is performed in a variety of offices and public settings with a focus on customer service. Work must be performed in safe manner, following all applicable OSHA regulations. The Facilities Maintenance Specialist functions as a technical expert, providing troubleshooting for maintenance issues and works collaboratively with diverse stakeholders to assess, identify, plan, and fulfill maintenance activities.
