Search Warrant Results in Arrest of Redmond Couple and Seizure of Fentanyl

Location: 629 SW 5th St. Redmond, OR (Village Squire Motel)

Arrested: Michael Meston, 32 year old male, Redmond, OR

Arrested: Katelynn Davis, 24 year old female, Redmond, OR

Charges: 

Warrant (Meston)

Probation Violation (Davis)

The Deschutes County Sheriff’s Office Street Crimes Unit conducted a short term investigation into Michael Meston for the sales of fentanyl pills imported from Portland and later distributed within Deschutes County. On August 17th, 2022 at approximately 5:00 PM, Street Crimes detectives executed a search warrant at the Village Squire Motel where Meston and his girlfriend, Katelynn Davis reside.

During the execution of the search warrant, evidence of the sales of counterfeit oxycodone pills containing fentanyl were located. Detectives also located a user amount of methamphetamine and a user amount of fentanyl.

Both Meston and Davis were transported to the Deschutes County Sheriff’s Office Jail where they were lodged on the above mentioned charges. 

This is an ongoing investigation and additional charges may follow.
