Interested in going 'on-air'? Learn what's it like to be a radio DJ!
In this hands-on Community Education course, learn the fundamentals of radio programming, including running the mixer and mics, planning for music/talk shows and developing your own style. KPOV is a community radio station, dependent on volunteers. Classes are open to all but due to severely limited space and enrollment, participants should have a genuine interest in becoming a DJ, sound producer or editor for KPOV. All students must attend the first lecture session on Saturday, Sept. 24 from 9-11:30am, followed by a studio session at KPOV.
