Guns and Drugs seized During Search Warrant

Location: S. Century Dr. near Burgess Rd., La Pine, OR

Arrested: Austin Hadachek, 31 year old male, Bend, OR

Charges: Unlawful Possession of Methamphetamine, Unlawful Possession of Heroin, Manufacture of a Controlled Substance (Heroin), Felon in Possession of a Firearm (5 counts),Theft I by Receiving (stolen firearm) and Possession of Marijuana (over 8lbs)

 

Arrested: Kelli Eggert, 29 year old female, Bend, OR

Charges: Frequenting a Place Where Controlled Substances are Used, Endangering the Welfare of a Minor (3 counts) and Unlawful Possession of Methamphetamine

 

NARRATIVE:

The Deschutes County Sheriff’s Office Street Crimes Unit conducted a short term investigation into Austin Hadachek as a result of an overdose death for the sales of controlled substances in Deschutes County. On October 18, 2022, Street Crimes detectives learned Hadachek was returning to Deschutes County with possible controlled substances in his possession. 

Detectives observed Hadachek traveling in a 1985 Winnebago Motorhome east bound on S. Century Dr. in La Pine, OR. At approximately 6:18 PM a DCSO Deputy stopped Hadachek on S. Century Dr. near the intersection of Burgess Rd. A search warrant was executed on the Winnebago and the subsequent search showed Hadachek was found to be in possession of five guns including one AR-15 style rifle and a stolen 12 gauge shotgun. Hadachek also had in his possession a commercial quantity of Heroin, a commercial quantity of Methamphetamine, and over 8lbs of processed marijuana. 

Hadachek was transported to the Deschutes County Sheriff’s Office Jail where he was lodged on the above listed charges.

On October 19, 2022 at approximately 11:41 AM detectives executed a search warrant in the 17000 block of Canvasback Dr. in Bend. Detectives contacted Kelly Eggert at the residence. Eggert was found to be in possession of a criminal amount of methamphetamine. She was taken into custody without incident. Detectives found additional evidence of commercial drug offenses during the search warrant. 

Eggert was transported to the Deschutes County Sheriff’s Office Jail where she was lodged on the above listed charges.
