Please join us in congratulating Lieutenant Brook Van der Zwiep on his retirement from the Deschutes County Sheriff's Office.
Brook Van der Zwiep began his career at the Deschutes County Sheriff's Office in August of 1994 as a Corrections Technician. In 1995, Brook became a Deputy Sheriff and in 1999 became a Corporal.
In January of 2002, Brook was promoted to the rank of Sergeant and in June of 2007, he was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant.
The Deschutes County Sheriff’s Office would like to honor Lieutenant Brook Van der Zwiep for his dedication and selfless service to the citizens of Deschutes County for the past 28 years.
