Morrow County is home to two registered sex offenders in April

There was one more registered sex offender living in Morrow County in April compared to the previous month, according to the Oregon Sex Offender Registry.

There were two sex offenders registered in Morrow County in April, compared to one the month before.

The Registry shows 41-year-old Nicholas Brandon Zook was the youngest sex offender living in Morrow County in April.

Andrew Michael Bennett was the oldest at 45-years-old.

Oregon has the highest population-adjusted rate of sex offenders – about 749 per 100,000 people.

In 2020, about 11,487 unique victims of child abuse were reported in Oregon, but studies of victims have shown less than 30% of sex crimes are reported to law enforcement.
