On Wednesday, Nov. 30, the Deschutes County Board of Commissioners will conduct a second public hearing to receive testimony on proposed land use regulations related to psilocybin businesses in the unincorporated County.

Community members will be invited to give input about changes to how parking is required when new development is built. These changes are in response to recently adopted state requirements, known as the Climate Friendly and Equitable Communities, that direct cities to take steps to regulate parking in new ways.
Thanks to Crook County Sheriff in getting the word out quickly, positive use of Facebook, someone giving a ride to a person who seemed to be out of her element, and an alert citizen who called dispatch, Madras PD was able to locate this missing person and now this family is able to have a Happy Thanksgiving together.
