78 percent of applicants to Oregon State University-Cascades Campus were admitted for fall 2018

At Oregon State University-Cascades Campus, 55 percent of undergraduate students are traditional students - age 24 or younger - and 51 percent are female, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The four-year public institution in Bend enrolled 1,259 students in fall 2018, including 978 in undergraduate and 281 in graduate programs, data shows. 20.8 percent of undergraduates transferred from another college or university.

87 percent of undergraduates are residents of Oregon, and 13 percent are residents of other states.

The undergraduate student body is comprised mostly of students who identify as white (75 percent) and Hispanic or Latino (8 percent).

The school admitted 78 percent of the 477 students who applied for fall 2018. Of those who were admitted, 27 percent enrolled.
