Among the five institutions in the county, Oregon State University-Cascades Campus stood out with the highest tuition fees, reaching an average of $16,278. Phagans Central Oregon Beauty College followed with an average of $13,400 per year. Central Oregon Community College students were offered the lowest annual tuition fees at $6,816.
At the time, a total of $4.4 million in grants or scholarships were awarded to full-time undergraduates who started at the Deschutes County universities in the 2022-23 school year. Additionally, federal student loans reached $1.9 million.
