The contractor for mosquito spraying in La Pine proper is currently providing abatement control once a week. This is an ongoing service and is not affiliated with other vector control services outside of city limits that may be experiencing service disruptions. The City of La Pine does not provide any contracted services for unincorporated La Pine/Deschutes County areas.
Due to an unseasonably wet Spring the intensity and presence of mosquitos is up this year. You can combat these increases by ensuring that there is no standing water on or around your property.
