On July 20, 2022 at approximately 2:21 PM the Deschutes County Sheriff’s Office responded to a reported single vehicle motor vehicle crash in the area of Baker Road and Apache Road in Deschutes River Woods.

On July 17, 2022 at approximately 5:40 PM the Deschutes County Sheriff’s Office received numerous 911 calls about gunshots in the area of Shoshone Road and Baker Road. Upon arrival deputies learned that two people had encountered a cougar in the area and had fired numerous shots at the cougar.
